PhotoShop Still Life drawings Grade 8

Grade 8 students have recently finished a Matisse inspired still life project and the work produced below was part of their extension task.  There drawings were traced in black marker, scanned onto PhotoShop and bright colors were added. It was enjoyable for the students to do and only took about 90 minutes to complete from start to finish.

German Expressionist Lino Printing Grade 9

Grade 9 students have recently been working on a unit in which they researched German Expressionism.  They created their own self portrait versions taking characteristics of the movement and applying it to their own work.  They then transferred their image onto to Lino and cut it out.  Once printed they were able to work into their prints with paint and later different materials.  A second print was then applied over the top to bring the image in again.
